Soap Recipe

Today I want to share with you one of the recipes I use all the time. This recipe is really simple to make, just Olive Pomace, Coconut and Palm oils. It's been super-fated to 8%. It might be a simple recipe but, you can add exfoliants to it like oatmeal, have it unscented as a natural bar or add essential oils to it. Experiment with it and you'll have many variations in no time. The recipe is as follows...

Coconut Oil 10.08 oz
Palm Oil  4.32 oz
Olive Pomace Oil  14.4 oz
Distilled Water 10.8 oz
Lye 4.039 oz

This makes approximately a 2 pound batch. Like I said before, you can add color, essential oils, oatmeal, dry herbs use your imagination! and you'll have a great soap at the end. If you have any questions just drop a comment. And remember always, ALWAYS, put your recipes trough a lye calculator even if it comes from a book, reliable source, it doesn't matter always make sure your lye quantity is correct. For a lye calculator go to soapcalc.net and put the recipe trough it before you work with it. Enjoy.
